Biltong is packaged in 250g packets. Biltong can be chili or normal flavor. All our biltong is medium wet, with low fat. Also note that any order can be a combination of normal and chili flavor.
Biltong is commonly confused with beef jerky as they are very similar products. Biltong is a South-African product that is 100% beef. The beef is flavored and then dried without cooking or adding preservatives. We spice the meat with an inhouse made Biltong spice (coriander, salt, pepper) and then dry the meat.
This process is the “old way” of preserving meat, before the time of preservatives and chemicals.
This not only makes biltong very healthy, but it is also a brilliant addition to your diet when you are trying to lose weight. The key factor here is that you only eat the prescribed portion weight of your weight loss program. Or you will not get the desired results.
Our biltong has very little fat and contains lots of protein which is also good for building muscle. Thus, use it when you are at the gym or when taking part in any sports.
