Kecap Manis is also known as "sweet soy sauce" and is different from regular soy or tamari sauce; kecap manis has a rich, almost caramel-like texture. This brand, Bango, is a 275 ml bottle with a red cap and a green label with a pelican logo. Can be used for a dipping sauce, any stir fry dishes (including nasi goreng, bakmi and bihun), glazing BBQ dishes such as for sate (chicken, beef, fish, shrimp etc), for rujak (Indonesian fruit salad) and many other uses.
