Bakers Blue Label Marie 200g
Marie biscuits first appeared in South Africa as far back as 1898 when the Baumann family acquired a 2nd biscuit-making plant capable of producing ‘fancy biscuits’. It is said, however, that the marie biscuit was first produced in 1895 by British biscuit-makers Peek Frean, and named in honour of the then Duke of Edinburgh’s bride – “Marie”. But one particular marie biscuit stands out.
